You know he loves you when he grounds you from doing anything but resting and you have to beg him for tv and computer rights when your in a flare. I went in another flare of course. And just because I have a cold too he forbid me to go doing anything, including my favorite two things reading outside in our loveseat swing and watching the stars. I know he loves me since he won't let me do anything but get better. But it is cute...I'm getting meal service in bed. My grandmother said I had a keeper too LOL! And of course, he took me to the doctor and I failed miserably at the appt, downright won a free trip on prednisone and antibiotics and nebulizer treatments for home every 4 hours and cough syrup. Never fails, get sick and flare the asthma too at the same time. He is watching me close, I tend to slip into getting phenmonia (sp) a few times a year. I'm trying to plot escape routes but he got the kids on watching me too! I guess I should give in this time. Ty for vent and thought I'd update you too.

First and foremost I truly hope you feel better😀
Secondly, I am sorry but had to laugh at your post!! Planning an escape route!! Looks like your other half has everything covered and knows you too well. One thing is for sure... He loves you and supports you... That it wonderful and such a special gift. You may feel smothered at times but he has your best interest at heart. He is definitely a keeper.

Hoping you feel better quickly!

The way you treat yourself you've got to have someone to hold the reins at times. You try to overdo for everyone else and put yourself last. You need sit back and let someone else drive for awhile.

Joy you know me too well! I am exactly like you say.. always put myself last. Yep Achy, you know he knows me way to well when he takes my tricks out of my sleeve. C and T are 17 and 33. T is special needs, and nephew who can't take care of himself. They don't help out around the house. My half has MS and works full time. So I tend to overdo it in trying to keep up with keeping a very tidy house and everything else I do. We've asked T to do the kitchen. And I've tried just letting them go by so he does it, but sorry after two days of that mess I had to get in the kitchen. I do volunteer work with TAPS, Home Front, Red Cross. Maybe I should cut back on my hours? I also babysit and volunteer through my church for office work with the homeless program we have that I can do at home. Last night it was 11 degrees outside! I keep trying to stay warm, since I know this coldness is definately a trigger. I think we're in for a long hard winter. Birds have migrated, and city has drained reservoirs. Sounds like we're in for a good deal of snow. I've keeping the house around 70. I also do home care, but went on break from it a few months ago due to my patient passing on. Just haven't looked for another patient yet, actually thinking of stopping my home care services.
