I get to take it fairly easy, only making one roasted vegetable dish, and my daughter wants to help with that....then a 45-minute drive to my SIL's sister's house. Should be a real good time.
My biggest concern is always: will everyone get along? My hearing isn't what it used to be, so I've had to let some of that go.... but I tend to be a bit of a conversation referee, and when I feel that someone isn't being heard, it drives me crazy and I have to intercede - which, of course, no one appreciates. Ah, well. We all have our parts to play, and I guess that's mine.
Have a wonderful day, everyone! Drive safely, cook safely, and EAT safely!
