Yes, I use cannabis on occasion, too...I'm in Colorado. I've never heard of the idea of tinctures and salves before...that interests me, because I have to be so careful not to overdo with smoking or edibles (almost to the point of not being able to handle any!) How do these forms work?
With smoking, I'll take one little half-hearted sniff when my pain is bad, and it does help, without making me out of it...
I thought I knew how much of the edibles to eat for the same effect, but I tried a different brand last week, and had a really bad experience: I had a tiny, tiny amount, and a couple of hours later, felt as though my mind was actually shutting down. It was SCARY. It took several days to feel all the way back to myself again :(
I'm sure my regular meds played into the situation, but - whew! - some of this stuff is STRONG. I just hope people will remember this, and be careful.
