Faith- don't feel so bad when you have those off days. It will take sometime for you to learn how to manage your fibro better. It really sounds like you need to check with your Dr. about
your Cymbalta. As I said in the other post the hearing issues can come from Cymbalta. Maybe you need to adjust your pain medication some to give you some relief.
I have had depression and it's triggered by pain. Getting control of your pain is a must. Many hear have seen a psychologist and therapist for chronic health issues such as this. The psychologist can give meds that help with the racing thoughts and depression. My therapist help my family and I with many things dealing with all these symptoms. It really helped both of us. My antidepressent has something in it to reduce the racing thoughts. Your symptoms are valid!
Maybe today you can just sit down and get a funny movie and enjoy it with our family. Getting outside and going for a walk does wonders for the mind. Just remember it will get better once you learn how all this works. It can be scary to oneself having so many symptoms that fibro causes.
Have your husband read some books with you on fibro. We have the new area where family members can ask questions or just need to share. That would be great for your family members so they can receive support too.
I hope you feel better soon. Just keep posting and asking questions.
