According to the CDC, this year's flu vaccine may not cover all of the strains as well as had been hoped because of virus mutations. They still believe that some cross-protection may occur though. BUT, if you had the vaccine and you start to feel like you may be coming down with the flu, it's quite possible that it IS the flu, and if you see your doctor at the onset, you may be able to take anti-virals to help treat it. So even if you got the vaccine, you still may get the flu this year. So, if it looks like flu, walks like flu, quacks like flu, it's probably flu. See your doctor!
