I know i still have some overall weakness from surgery 9 weeks ago (see signature), but since Wednesday I've been having some odd symptoms.
Not sure this is totally related, but...My GI doc, who i saw last week, wanted me to wear compression stockings (knee length) because of funky blood pressure changes (orthostatic hypotension). I do not actually feel faint or anything, just "random" episodes of nausea, very frequently.
So, then Weds, I notice swelling in my feet/ankles, hands, face, abdomen. Figured just water. That has continued each day, worst in evening. Now, when i stand for even 30 seconds, my lower legs feel weak, no pain. Continued standing just creates a really intense weakness feeling.
Arms and legs are still very weak, but seem to be getting worse rather than better over the weeks. Only other "new" symptom is back pain has gone from moderate to severe over a period of a couple days, with no lifting or extensive exercise/movement.
I really don't know what to make of this. Will message my GI doc Monday if this continues. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this. Hope it wasn't too confusing…my mind is really really fuzzy lately.
***Update: only been a few hours since my post, but now abdomen is super bloated. Not sure what to think but will likely go to urgent care tomorrow.
I have hope.
Lots of medical issues, lots to be thankful for.
