If my hubby was on board and we could afford it, I'd do it in a heartbeat. That said, I agree with all that others have said about
having a strong and healthy communication and relationship in general. It sounds like your hubby is very supportive which is a huge thing that many don't have. Do you have family in CA that you'll be staying with, or will you be there on your own?
I'd say you have nothing to feel guilty about
. I can understand why you would, though. It's hard to be away from a spouse and harder still when you know you've left them at home working, and you already feel guilty for not being able to provide in the same ways they do, etc (all the usual guilt) then extra guilt because you are in a nice warm, sunny place and he's still back home in the cold and snow working.
