Has anyone here been diagnosed with both? Please tell me your experience.
Thanks,
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
I have been diagnosed with both. Yes, I have issues with a dry throat. I drink a lot of water and when I lived up north I needed humidified air in the winter to deal with the dryness.
I also have dry eyes. My eye doctor recommended eye drops without preservatives. She likes the Retaine eye drops the best.
What are your issues?
Fibromyalgia, CFS, MCS, scoliosis, herniated disks, spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis, sjorgens, sleep apnea, asthma, allergies, headaches. On a regiment of different supplements including sleep supplements. I eat nutritiously and do not eat foods I'm sensitive to and ever since a back injury triggered my fibromyalgia, I have been doing prescribed stretches twice daily.

I am not diagnosed but having alot of issues. I have Fibro and seeing a rhumatologist for it. She does not think I have sjogrens but my oral medicine dr says my mouth should not be as dry as it is even after radiation treatment. I did have radiation treatments 18 yrs ago from lymphoma and thought the problems with my teeth was from that but now she feels otherwise. My teeth are so bad I am going to need dentures in the very near future I had the lip biopsy done but the surgeon found only one gland and so the results were inconclusive, I am constantly tired, in pain and wondering if I should get a second opinion.don;t have any issues with my eyes but my skin is always dry, itchy and cracking. Advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Lisa

Lisa, I have not been diagnosed with Sjogrens, at least not yet, but like you, have issues.
The past several months, I have an extremely dry mouth and yes, dental issues. I've never had radiation, and my dentist said he thinks 'it's my health condition.' I sip water through the day, but at night if I wake up, my mouth is as dry as cotton! My eyes don't seem affected.
Any idea how to hydrate my mouth at night? I often rinse my mouth with water if I'm awake, but even then, by morning my mouth is soooo dry.

For dry mouth, there are several Biotine products but for me these cause digestive side effects.
I drink plenty of water.
