I am New Here.... and new to all this,
I am suffering in so much pain, and going to see a Rheumatologist in Oct. I think I have Fibromyalgia, though it hasn't been confirmed yet. I was wondering what to expect. I am so nervous and a little scared, but I want and need some answers. My family doc, ran RA test and a test for Lupus, but from what I can see they have come back in the normal ranges. My Mother had RA and my daughter has Vasculitis so an Auto Immune Disease would not be out of the question.
I am a little scared to be honest. For 4 years plus now I have been in pain and I seem to be falling apart. Every joint and muscle seems to have an issue.
I have Plantar Fasciitis since 2014, I had surgery last year for Carpal Tunnel, Trigger Finger a DNC and then a Complete and Total Hysterectomy, and just this month another Trigger Finger surgery with one more to come in the very near future. As I said above, every joint in my body hurts, my neck which has arthritis, my shoulder hurts and grinds they told me I have Degenerative Disk Disease, my elbow which has now hurt for about
6 months and they say that is tennis elbow, I have lower back pain and then my feet with Plantar Fasciitis. I have had burning itchy skin on my lower back with no reason...... I just don't know what to think anymore.
I would love any advise on what to expect with the Rheumatologist visit and any thoughts about
what is going on with me....I need to find some help and try to be out of this pain that comes and goes and changes places daily.... I really am at my wits end.....
Thank you in advance and I'm sorry for the rant, just looking for some help
