During a flare up does anyone else feel like they are coming out of anesthesia? Like when you look to around it seems slow to adjust. I have trouble thinking of words and keeping focus. I get pins and needles in my lower jaw and lips.

Ditto. Hate Dr visits during that time. I seem to remember days when I could think clearly, I forget when :). Wait, what were we talking about?

Hi, Juniper, and welcome! Yep, you can feel like your brain is hazy. And the more you worry about it, the less you will remember! Just laugh at it and move on. The stress and tension caused by worry can do bad things to your body...your memory included..

Be sure to read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good info about fibro and you will learn a lot there.

I. Looking forward to getting to know you better. Don't hesitate to ask questions because we are here to help you. Hope to hear more from you soon.

Sherrine is right, the more you angst about it the worse it gets. Just relax, picture the thing you're trying to think of the word for -- and sometimes it'll come to you, I'm older so people think I'm having senior moments. I think my children think I'm getting dementia.

The worst is when you ask a question, they answer, and you don't remember the question you asked. It's awful but remember there are worse things in this world and this is what we have to deal with.

It's frustrating.

Very sore today.
