Just back from a ten day trip..which is a miracle itself 😉..

I had a bad fall several weeks before going..slammed my whole right side ..messed with a tendon in my right arm..

I worked hard and so did hubby getting better and getting away..our youngest were meeting us on hilton head island..

I definitely could not do all the things we usually do while there, but it was beautiful and relaxing..and our kids are so fun..

Home today, we took the mountain route down and back this time..rte 81, i sure did not miss rte 95... had not been in the mountains in a while, it was gorgeous...

Now to mountains of laundry, and some physical therapy😉

Lj, that sounds so fun! You amaze me by taking a ten day trip!! We took a few hundred miles drive this weekend, and I paid dearly for it, though it was a nice getaway, and we did stop quite often. Worth it? Definitely!

Hope your right side and arm tendon are recovering well.

"Beautiful and relaxing" says it all, and even if you couldn't do all the usual things, a nice trip like that is so worth it. It's amazing what a change of scenery can do.

You'll have some nice memories, especially meeting with your youngest, and maybe some nice photos, too? The mountains sound beautiful!

It takes about 12 hours each way with we broke the drive into 2 days each way..we went a pretty rte so also wanted the daylight driving to enjoy the mt views...we were in 5 states! : )

After the fall i got weaker again, so had to be kinda pokey, but hey we needed the change of scenery!!!

I have a couple days to get settled back in before starting therapy , thank goodness

This trip maybe slowed my recovery a bit, but was worth it : )
