Hi Barb: My feet are going absolutely wacky the past few weeks. I blame the sudden cold, damp temps.
My feet are NEVER hot! They're like solid, frozen chunks of ice, it feels like.
I have some microwavable 'slippers' that I put on my feet a few times a day. I also have my soft orthotics and fairly thick, soft socks. Throughout the day, I change shoes. That probably sounds odd, but it seems to help a little. And I'm still dry brushing my feet and applying either my leg vein cream (Leg Vein Essentials from Swanson) or muscle rub cream.
Gabapentin helps a lot too, so I think it's the nerves kicking up, though I'm really, really stiff all over. A warm bath feels awesome. Of course, this is for solidly cold feet, so this is probably not too helpful--sorry. I do get the odd sensations, though.
Do you, by chance, have restless legs? Wal-Mart has an OTC homeopathic product called Restful Legs. Not sure if they would interfere with your particular meds, though? I also read that restless legs can come from low iron. You could probably get more info on it online, but that's what I remember.
Hope it's better soon!
ETA: You probably have already done this, but if not, search "fibromyalgia hot feet." There are several things on the web.
