Yup--I've had two pairs of orthotics specially made for me, through my doctor. These were made some years ago, and unfortunately because of the stiff material, I can no longer wear them. My feet just don't flex enough; they would rather cramp up.
I did buy a pair of slip-on shoes a while back that seem to almost exercise my feet--which they badly need! Having good success with them so far.
I have heard of Happy Feet and really should check them out! I wonder what type of material they use? From what I've heard, they're very specific to each customer.
I do have quite a bit of success with my soft OTC orthotics, thankfully, but yes--having them specially made for my feet would be a huge plus, for sure.
Ouch-- I'm surprised the coughing and sneezing season is here already! Usually it seems to hit around Christmas. There seem to be sinus-related things around this area, but no surprise--the weather is wacky with snow, then melting, then more snow, cold, etc..
On the brighter side, I did receive 3 Springtime garden catalogs in the mail already.
Very early, but a positive sign.
