Hello everyone, I am a 35 year old female who has been suffering from fibromyalgia for about
ten years now. My symptoms include muscle pain, chonic fatigue, migraines, migraine vertigo, tinnitus, anxiety, Depersonalization and hypersensitivity to many thing including noise, smells, lights and temperatures. I should mention that I had a spinal fusion using Harrington rods in 1999 to treat scoliosis, which some doctors think could be part of my problems. I have tried numerous medications and therapies, some help a little but nothing that cured me. To make matters worse this past October I found a bug bite on my leg which turned into a red circular rash. Then I developed symptoms like a sore throat, insomnia high blood pressure. I went to a natural doctor who has been treating me for Lyme even though my blood test came back negative she said I had the bullseye rash with symptoms so it's very likely I have it. While seeing this new doctor she also did some other blood work and found out that I have a MTHFR mutation where I am unable to detox certain B vitamins. To help with detoxification I have been going to the sauna which seems to be helping but I still do have bad days. As for the fibromyalgia part, I have been dealing with these symptoms for so long now I was just wondering if I could have an underlining problem, dose anyone know if there are any other blood test that I should get done to see if I have somthing more than fibromyalgia alone? The two symptoms s that stump my doctors are the tinnitus and depersonalization, those you don't see too much with Fibro alone. I know there is a virus panel that can be done, has anyone had that done? . Thank you for your help!
