Beautiful! This put a lump in my throat.
More than ever, we need to "stop and smell the roses" in our busy lives, and this goes double for those of us with health issues. Life is hard, but we can find good, often where we least expect it to be.
This also reminded me of how important it is to cherish the people who are in your life--whether close to you, or just crossing your path. Look for the good in them, encourage where you can, and remember most people are fighting some type of battle in their lives.
So glad you shared this, Sherrine. What a bright spot in my day!!
