Hi...I hve been feeling awful for years. I have seen every Dr. possible.( gastrologist, opthamologist, inf disease, cardiology, pulmonary, Ent, natropath, rheum) hve epstein barr, celiac, acid reflux, ibs , a pda, tinnintitis, tmj, and migraines with aura, mthfr gene mutations, macula deg starting, cataracts too. I am a mess. Tired all the time. Don't sleep well. Wake up and it's like I never slept. I am dizzy always, driving is hard on sunny days...sun light flickering thru trees makes it hard to see, I am foggy, constant sinus headache, pain btwn eyes, eyes hurt, vision getting worse it seems. Good and bad days....pain everywhere, tingles, hurts to touch skin sometimes, restless leg sometimes, tingles in hands and areas around body off and on, nausea constantly. Have times I can't walk up stairs, do laundry walk to mail box without losing my breath, heart races...vision fades a littke but i dont pass out....Dr. don't know why. Other tines I am fine. Sometimes I hve episodes of heart racing and chills which last a few hours.???? No one knows why. I am thinking allergy to ibruprofen.? Maybe. Staying away from it to see if I have episode...so far none. Normally I have hot / cold flashes in post menopsuse now. I have food sensativities so diet is limited.I eat organic not much from a box. All natural.
I have an infectious disease Dr. Saying I don't have lyme but fibro. Another natropath saying I have lyme and co infections. I tried cowden protocol but after a month I got too many migraines so cut it back and by 3rd month stopped. Waiting on Rheum appt and blood results. Also neurologist is running tests again, its been 6 years since I saw her last. She had tested me for MS.... and I don't have that. Love to know if we finally figured things out. Does any of this sound familiar to any of you.

Hi, WC, and welcome. Yes, quite a few of your issues could be from fibro and quite a few could be from anxiety and other health issues. Do try to relax and not “study” what is going on with your body. Do try deep breathing exercises too. You can feel the tension leave the body! Also be checked for lupus. Since they ruled out Lyme disease it would be good to rule out lupus and even MS. These illnesses have many of the same symptoms as fibro.

Try not to run from doctor to doctor. Pick a good board certified internist as a PCP and have a board certified rheumatologist as one of your specialists. They should be able to help you.

Not everything is caused by fibro. Macular degeneration can be helped with vision formula vitamins. Occuvite is one of them. I take Walmart’s vision formula which is like a generic of Occuvite. Do wear good sunglasses when out in the sun to help protect your eyes. I have the start of cataracts also. I’m nearly 74 years old and this is typical as you age. But the vision vitamins seem to help with that because I have had just the start of cataracts for nearly 10 years! I don’t even have to wear glasses now when I drive. Go figure. These are not fibro issues.

I also take a multiple vitamin daily along with 5,500 IU of vitamin D3. The D3 helps with fibro. So does magnesium malate. These things are talked about if Fibro 101. As we age, we don’t absorb things as well as we used to so I, at least, want to supplement my body with vitamins and nutrients. It’s a choice I’ve made and it’s been successful for me. I take quite a few more things to help my overall health. You will see a sampling of what illnesses I have in my signature but I’m still doing quite good!

Be sure to read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to a lot of good info about fibro there. One of the links is called Symptoms and you will see many of the things you listed in your post. All of Fibro 101 is good so do take the time to read it.

I’m looking forward to getting to know you better. I’m so sorry it took so long for me to respond but I have a lot going on in my life right now so I haven’t been on the forum as much as usual. I hope to hear more from you soon. Have a much better day today!
