Can Hep C cause oral conditions such as purple/red swollen gums, receding gums, and fever blisters?

Hello M1, I have never heard of it being one of the symptoms.

Take care.

m1, hi and welcome to the forum. By the description you gave it sounds like peridontal disease. The symptoms are as follows mouth sores, swollen gums, bright red or redish-purple looking gums, shiny gums, bleeding gums (you may even see some blood on your toothbrush even if you brush softly). You should see a dentist before you do anything else. It is easily treatable so don't panic. Good luck and let us know.
