I have AIH and am currently taking Imuran 50mg per day.
That being said, obviously my immune system is suppressed.
I am very concerned about H1N1 (swine flu) exactly how susceptible am I being on Imuran?

Rhonda, unfortunately anyone who is immune supressed has a higher risk of contracting infections and viruses. You should first speak with your Dr and ask him/her for suggestions. Next I would look into a vitamin regimine that would help build up my immune system. Once you have found the vitamins you need ask your Dr if it is OK for you to take them. Avoid crowds and of course stay away from anyone who is ill. I wish I could suggest more but until a vaccine is available we have to do other things to protect ourselves. Let me know what you find out OK?

May I add:  Wash your hands frequently.  That's the single best defensive thing you can do, be it swine flu or a cold.
