June, I have never been given any percentages.  Of course, now that I only have the left lobe remaining, it would be rather difficult to come up with a percent.  I know that with my original biopsy, the report stated "no piecemeal necrosis," meaning that it was not throughout the liver.  In fact, they said there was no cirrhosis at that time, cirrhosis being scarring and necrosis being dead tissue.  If you have a radiologist's report for those scans, that might tell you more.

Jerry was told my his Dr. a year before his transplant that his liver was functioning at about 10%.  I have no idea how they know it.  But that just goes to show that you can live quit a while on a small portion.  Hope this helps
