Natty, it's always a good idea to write down things you want to discuss with the doctor and whip out your list when you first get there. I know how easy it is to be focused on one thing and forget about
another. And the docs are usually in and out fairly quickly, so you have to be prepared before you get there. I started doing this many years ago with my primary care doc, and it sure came in handy when I was getting cancer treatment and scans. I'm sure your MIL's doc would have no problem recommending hospice, so be sure to bring it up on Wed.
