It is easier to transmit to an unborn child than man to woman or woman to man. Sexual transmission of hep C is rare. It's a blood borne disease, so if a woman has sex during her period and the man has an abrasion on his penis, that would be one way it could be transmitted...or through the
opening of his penis. Do be sure not to share toothbrushes, razors, etc., with your husband or the children, or anyone else.
Is it the youngest child who tests positive for C?
A C-section is a lot more traumatic than a biopsy, I assure you.
