Syxx, congrats on your upcoming appt. We had 3 1/2 straight days of nonstop rain...totaling 4.5 to 7". Fortunately, the drainage is pretty good at the beach. And the soil is sandy, which absorbs better than dirt. The sun finally came out today!
For those who don't follow my Post-Transplant thread on here, I will spend Thurs. and Fri. of this coming week at Mayo for a multitude of tests and consults for my 18-mo. followup post transplant. First will be blood work. I will also be having surgery on the hole in my midriff that
opened up once again, part of the incisional scar from transplant. There is mesh in there from previous hernia repairs, part of which will have to be taken out and left
open, in order for it to heal. Surgery will be the week of the 13th...no definite day yet. After which, I will again have a hernia. An EKG was added to the other testing, which will complete all they need for surgery.
My rt. thumb that was surgically repaired is doing great. ("Trigger thumb.") The left one isn't hurting yet. And my rt. knee isn't bad enough yet for replacement. So, with any luck, this next surgery may be my last for awhile.
