SD, Robert is obviously in denial. Lack of coping skills--sounds like my grown daughter. She doesn't want to hear about
my medical problems--though I constantly hear about
hers...over and over ad nauseum. And they are mostly imaginary.
I've corrected my previous post. I spoke with my transplant coordinator and the VL is 4 million. Whew! It has been as high as 10 million. Aside from my kidney function, my results were pretty good this time. I was told to reduce the Lasix from 40 mg a day to 20 mg every other day. I know I will start to swell, but I do need to preserve my kidney function.
Also, the TC stated that they have stopped prescribing the triple therapy as it is just too difficult--at least the side effects are. They are waiting for the interferon-free treatment that should be available soon.
