Hello opaw , Transplant surgery is super expensive in the states but we have programs like charities and fund raisers here that help . Not sure what country your from but that may be a option also . I wouldn't get to worried about
the transplant until it became needed . Worrying isn't gonna help and likely will add to problems .
Sounds to me like your not really sure about your diagnosis . A liver biopsy is truly needed before you get yourself all worked up , Testing is the key to determining what needs to be done next . Your youth works in your favor here and you may be able to stop the progression of this disease before it gets worse . Put a plan of action together and go see a Hepatologist or at minimum a exceptional Gastro doctor . DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL , Watch your sodium levels and maintain a healthy diet . You need to be taking medications if your experiencing encephalopathy ( Dizziness , Confusion and etc. ) , Lactulose and Xifaxan is commonly prescribed for this symptom .
You can survive this disease but that is totally up to you . We can and will help the best we can here on the forum , but you have to meet us half way with a desire to work on changing your lifestyle and not give up . I and many other survivors here struggle daily over obstacles but we manage to make it through with shear determination and supporting each other . Welcome again and feel free to ask all the questions you wish , Glad to help .
