I guess you are not that sick or you would go the ER regardless of it being a pita situation. You would go if there were a lot of blood in your stool though, right?
Ruling out the obvious and innocuous at first would be good: any chance of food poisoning? Others with you the day or hours before this started?
Do you have fever, rash, swollen lips or mouth?
Have you had too much of some kind of food your body can't digest well...ice cream does it to me...stomach pains and all.
Folks with liver disease can have bleeds from esophagus, stomach or bowel...if you had blood that didn't resolve, like from a hemorrhoid, it could be an emergency.
This is the only bad thing I know about
Mike had a bout of steatorrhea following treatment in 2003 and he lost like 50 lbs in a month with uncontrolled floating oily liquid stool. This was indicative of a problem with pancreatic enzymes and lack of bile acids. His NEW Hepatologist was a great help. This was after a horrible experience with treatment...we went to a major med center and got on the right track...Those community based GI docs should not have monitored a treatment that was part of a clinical study. They didn't do well managing the side effects...including this horrible one. It took quite a while to stabilize him.
I hope you just ate some bad Chinese food. But be sure to check it out if it doesn't stop..
