My Mike's tumor was really small...they could see it on the MRI but could not do one of the Interventional Radiolgy ones like Chemoembolization because it was not easily seen in Sector (whatever, I can't remember). What they did instead is gave him tumor points and he got higher on the transplant list..and was transplanted 3 months after the tumor was identified.

5 or 6 years ago, Connie had an entire liver lobe removed, while she had Hep C, to get rid of her cancer. She did well for a really long time. She has since passed, but that was a whole other confusing story, not the cancer.
