Good morning! IBS can cause abdominal pains all over, including the lower chest along the ribcage. Have you had a colonoscopy? You may have some diverticulum. Anxiety can cause all kinds of crazy symptoms in itself. Stress and anxiety can get your bile flowing and stomach acid up causing all kinds of pains in your chest and abdomen. I am a pro on anxiety issues as I have suffered severe anxiety since the 4th grade. My main problem was chest pains. I have been to the ER several times for chest pains only to find it was the anxiety causing panic attacks. My heart is fine. It took getting every heart test in the book to convince me, but I finally accepted it.
I would think if your liver was hurting for this long, you would have shown some severe symptoms by now. Even with my decades of Hep C and chronic alcohol abuse, my liver has never had much pain at all unless I eat greasy foods.
GOOD LUCK AND POSITIVE THOUGHTS!!
