The good part of today was that we got the tree up and decorated, holiday cards mailed, and what gifts we had already bought wrapped, went to Target and bought a skateboard for the local charity that does gifts for needy children....we always choose something for a teen boy....it seems like most of the stuff is for toddlers.
Another good thing was that Mike spent much of the day on the phone to friends and relatives telling them about
his heart surgery. With the liver he wanted to pretend everything was fine...maybe was embarassed about
the Hep C part....but this time he is lookings for support, talking about
his feelings, and I think that is fantastic. AND heart stuff doesn't have HE as part of it, so he isn't out of it.
Oh, and he cooked a yummy supper....steak and rice and really tiny asparagus.
Happy week folks...
