DH was doing SO well, and decided to "tipple" again. Totally incoherent this morning, so his DS took him to the ER where a blood alcohol was taken. .26, swears no drinks since last night, with liver function (or lack of), a nurse has backed that up. Now in detox and looking for a 30 day facility. Thanks for letting me rant.

Martijean,
I don't quite know what to say. Do you attend Alanon? I hear it helps. There are online forums you can look into.

I hear your anger, and frustration. Remember. This is not your fault, and you can not fix this.

You know we see many people come through here with a spouse dying from liver disease that continue to drink. You must be so disappointed by this behavior. Heartbreaking stuff. Big Hugs.
