advertisement issues

  dont know if this is my settings or if others are having trouble with ads that dominate the reading area of posts.

Try U Block or Ad Block plus, Both are free and they take up little resource. There are options with both to allow non aggressive ads so the website doesn't loose it's advertisement support.
