Some of you will remember his story...I like the part about asking me if Obama or Osama had been killed...he couldn't hear without his hearing aids...May 1st...YUP 2011. Osama. But in this world it could have gone either way. Before TP he was mired in Hepatic Encephalopathy and could barely remember how to tie his shoes...and he starts with the news reports? Oh my.
Well, get this.
They have dropped his anti-rejection meds to .5mg A DAY. He came home from the hospital at 11 mg twice a day and all that prednasone...and now it is down to this? His doc says he has done so well, they will consider a trial with NO immunosuppressant down the line. He is back to labs every 2 weeks just to be sure. But would this not be perfect. Some person out there was an almost perfect match. How lucky is my guy?
He is Hep C free 3 years too.
He had back surgery in December but is back golfing...the guy is the energizer bunny. 67 and better than ever. He'd like to lose a few pounds...that's all he has to complain about.
Hoping things are going well at your house.
