I am sad let you know that on February 12th, David, my close friend and a frequent past contributor to Healingwell, passed away. The Healingwell group was a great support to him and he enjoyed being able to provide advice to those who were going through treatment. He died peacefully after having had many good years following his liver transplant.

I am deeply saddened to learn of David’s passing. He helped me so much over the years, especially in the fall of 2010 when my husband was dx with cirrhosis. I enjoyed his sense of humor and his no nonsense posts.

I haven’t been very active on the forum for the last couple of years, and haven’t seen many posts from David recently.

It is comforting to hear that he passed peacefully. Please extent my condolences to his friends and family.

He will be missed here.

Big hugs,

ppm guy

I will pass on to David's family and friends your condolences and memories.
He was quite a character-- filled with humor, snark and compassion for others. I still can't believe that he is not here.

**David** has not been posting since 2016, likely as his health declined.

He posted on this site almost 3500 times, helping others through their struggles with Hep C and Liver Transplantation. He was a HUGE help to me and my family as Mike struggled to get sober and stay alive long enough to qualify and then make it to transplant.

He and Ziff had a huge humorous thread that continued for has to look for some fun during such a dire time.

Once I even called him at his home when we were in New England. Mike was bleeding internally and we were far from our TP center (U Miami) and needed a referral to a doctor in Boston.

Transplantation extends life....but not forever. Such sad news.
