Would anyone be interested in a weekly visit in one of the chat rooms? I used to do this and it worked well. Usually I use the Chronic Pain room since many of the disorders involve pain. We often pick a topic and sometimes just 'wing it' and talk about what's on peoples minds. Some nights we may talk about a disorder that you don't have but by sticking around we can all learn something, especially about controlling pain.
If you have ideas of what topics you'd like to have discussed please say so. Or we could start at the top of the 'Diseases & Conditions' list and work our way down. Also, if you are interested in doing this, what night of the week is best for you? I'm on the west coast in WA state so I usually start the chats at 6PM so it makes it 9PM on the east coast. Hopefully not too late for most. Being we start at 6PM us westerners often have our dinner on the desk and eat during chats. If we start later it's too late on the east coast. Any earlier and it's too early for those in AK and HI. If you need to jump in a bit late that's fine too. Do what you need to do. Most people usually hang out for about an hour but you're free to stay as long as you like.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
