Hello everyone....
Hope all is doing well.
I've been to my reg. doc. and I'm going to my hep doc next Friday. It will be 1 year since all this started...Its been 6 months since I've been off the meds. And, my reg. doc says all my blood work looked really good.
I'm feeling pretty good....gained a few pounds back which I didn't want too but I am exercising and still drinking all my water.....It feels good to have my weekends back and not in bed.....
We are going to put the house up for sale soon and try this again...
I did loose a cousin 2 weeks ago she had massive heart attack age 51 scary!!!! she wasn't even sick!!!
My sister just went for a check up and her liver enzymes are high and she sees the doc today. They want to check her for B and C. She's my older sister that told me not to do the treatments because they were worse than the actual Hep....She said she really doesn't want to know if she has it because she's worried about the guy she's been dating for the last 2 years.....she doesn't want to be alone and she thinks he will leave her.
My dad was told he had hep in the service...but we really don't know much about it because he past away awhile ago from colan cancer....
Can you get Hep C from someone or is that just Hep B that you get from someone?
Well hope all is well
PS my hair came back yeah
Tons of hugs to all
I think of you guys a lot

I am so glad to hear your doing well! I am not positive, but I think hep c is not normally passed through sexual contact, but through blood. Of course, there is a risk I am sure,,,this is something to discuss with her dr if she is dx with hep b or c,,,I am not sure why she is afraid to tell her bf,,,what is he going to do if he contracts something from her? I hope she sees that the honest route is best, especially when it comes to serious diseases that could affect his health,,,,,,actually,i hope she doesnt have either b or c:) hope we continue to hear good reports from you:) take care

Hi Trish,
Well she got her alt and ast they were both 300 mine was 54. They told her it could be a combination of things. One her gall bladder could of backed up into her liver. and two the hep.
he asked her if she drank a lot and she said no.....well she does nightly about 3 drinks. so she is going to get her gall bladder tested but she said she didn't know about the blood work. she is crazy if she doesn't....she is worried about her son, bf, and her job..she works the same place I do and I told her if I can do it you can....she has always been a lot stronger than me....
but she is stubborn.....
here's me couldn't wait to find out and her she doesn't want to know.....
well I'll keep in touch

Hi, Eileen! Nice to see you posting here again! So glad to hear you are doing well. Trish is right--hep C is not normally passed through sexual activity. I believe that hep B is. However, your sister should definitely find out if she has hep C or not. If positive, no sex during periods, no shared toothbrushes or razors. Hep C is blood borne. It would be best if she told her b.f. If he then runs in the opposite direction, he isn't much of a b.f.

Take care and let us know what happens.
