I have no clue if I am experiencing IBS, but I do think it could be something along the same lines.

I have been having a fast onset of diarrhea and vomiting about once a week for the past 3 weeks. This has never been a problem, so I am a little worried. It seems to happen after I eat. There are no links to the food (which would make me think it is an allergy). It almost seems like food poisoning, but after the 3rd time, I felt like something else may be wrong. It just seems to crazy to think I would be getting food poisoning weekly. Also, every time I have been eating the same thing as several other people, and I am the only one getting sick. It lasts for about 3 hours and is very debilitating. Usually starts with painful cramps.

Anyone have any ideas what could be going on? I am going to schedule an appointment with my doctor in the morning. Thanks!

Something weird is definitely going on if you are having rapid-onset diarrhea and vomiting. We cannot venture to guess what could be the problem, but it is good to hear that you have a doctor's appointment. How long does your diarrhea and vomiting last when it happens?

I'm sorry to hear you're ill...welcome to the boards, however :)

It lasts for about 2 hours. Off and on.
I have a doctors appointment in the morning. I will update when I get more info.
