  Hi everyone,

Just a quick observation to see if others ever experience this.

Does "depression" ever exacebate your IBD....ie: increaded ..loose bowels.

Here's what happens to me---

I experience very unusual (for me) early awakenings...(5:30-6 AM)---& going to the batroom...w loose stools 2 or 3 times...early...THEN..it's OK...for the rest of the day.  (I wonder "WHY" this is?)

I started taking my Caltrate &...at times.....Immodium--

Interested in hearing from others--Thanks--Robert

That happens to me quote often. I attribute it to what I ate and/or how stressed out I am. It happens more often when I eat right before bed or when I've been drinking the night before.
I'm not "depressed" though. For me it's just other things that cause it.

For me, the loose bowels/diarrhea etc. cause depression, bigtime.
