Hi, I'm new here.
For quite a few years now, I would get the most awful stomach cramps and symptoms like food poisoning, that would last about 3 days up to a week. The first few times this happened I took it as food poisoning, and let it pass and then was right as rain for a few months or so. However, it came back worse with a vengeance about 3 years ago and it was diagnosed as Gastritis..
Now however I still get the worst stomach cramps, loud gurgly guts and sometimes feel like its difficult to pass stools.. My stomach is often feeling a similar sensation to when one feels starving, despite the fact that i may have eaten only not long ago.
I went to the doctors and they thought it was possibly too much stomach acid and also I was tested for the Helicobacter pylori, but it came back negative. I took Zoton Fastab for two weeks, i was okay for the first week, but during the 2nd i had awful side effects including really bad nonstop headaches.
Now I'm not taking any medication at all, but find that I'm not "better" and its really getting to me. My doctor said because of my bloating feeling, it may be IBS, which is why i have been doing my research and ended up here... on this forum.
I find that definitely large amounts of milk make me bloated, sometimes tomatos and also high acid juices... but I've been avoiding these lately...so why am I still having all these symptoms...?
Any help and advice is much appreciated, thank you in advance.
