Hi guys,

I am new to this forum. I've had stomach trouble for years. Most recently, after a stressful situation, burning pain in pubic area with spasms down there v low w/ intermittent diarrhea but the pain is constant. Does this sound familiar to any of you guys, am at my wits end. Anybody heard of any natural remedies specifically for pain/burning.

Thanks :-)

No answers, but you are not alone. This is EXACTLY my problem. I have burning sensation in the left side of my pubic bone. Sometimes, its stabbing/twisting pain just to the left of that and sometimes both. How are your BM? I am having loose stools every morning as well. I've had pelvic exams, ultrasounds, checked for a hernia, MRI, CT scan, stool culture...nothing. I am going to yet another GI dr tomorrow.  Please, if you get any response for this burning pain in your pubic area, let me know as well. It's been going on for 3 months and its really taking a toll on me as well

I don't know if you are male or female, but we've had a couple of guys on here complaining of extreme pain in their testacles when having an IBS flair. It must have something to do with muscle spasms. You might try some floor exercises that work the pubic area (like hip lifts) to see if you can calm it down. Gentle exercise is usually a good way to relieve muscle spasms and tight muscles. There are a number of floor exercises intended for women--you should be able to find them searching for post-birth exercises, because they're aimed at strengthening the pelvic muscles after delivery. You can also look at doing yoga, especially the floor exercises.

The sigmoid colon embeded in the lower pelvic cavity can innervate the bladder and vice versa.
