it all started when i got poisin ivey bout 4 weeks ago, and it spreaded into...well...the anus/rectum (Sorry im trying to put this the most mature way possible), and the rash violently itched at night, and i cought my self itching it...now the poising ivey is gone...bout a week later, i took a shower and noticed a bump on the side of my left cheek sorta in the rectum...then it sorta faded away...then it got bigger, bout the size of a grape, and its sorta swollen, and it burns and itches, i looked in the mirror and its sorta light pinkish color, couldnt really see it that good, and on the other cheek (bout the same spot on the other one) there is a little bump bout the size of a pee, and it feels sorta like a pimple, it dont burn but itches, alot, and its red, or the tip of it is red.

i told my parents, they said it was probably a hemroid. i did some resarch on it, and it sorta sounds like a hemroid, but i havnt got any bleeding.

now im concernd....and i need help...

and again, im sorry if it sounds em-mature, i tried to put it the most mature way.

thanks... cry

I hate hemroids too, but they don't bother me like they used to.

I have had them in one form or another for several decades, and only now figuring out what I could have done differently. First determine if they are hemroids or boils (boils are like a big hard zit and can be on or even in your rectum.

If it is boils, which I have had often, until, like zits, I cut back on my sugar and fat intake.

My hemroids, which I have had for about 3 decades, were likely caused by too much straining to have a bowell movement (constipation) and possibly from sitting for long periods of time (especially on hard surfaces). I minimize them by limiting my straining and avoiding too much sitting.

In both cases, I never had much luck with over the counter creams, but ice or a "dip" in cold water helps alot. Obviously avoid sitting if possible (not only to avoid the pain but to minimize the inflamation). Lying in a cool room(but side up) in some cool short is gentle way of cooling things down.

The itching can also be diminished with the ice, (or you may have better luck then me with the hydrocortizone creams specifically for the anal itch).

The boils have about a week long cycle for me (at least when I used to have them), but I have become quite good at deflating my hemoroids within minutes sometimes, partly because I know how to avoidinflaming them too much in the first place.

At your age you stand a good chance of actually healing your hemorhoids so they don't return, if that is what it is, if you are careful. I will probably need surgery to completely rid myself of them, but until I do, they don't really bother me enough to bother at this time

No need to fear, just learn what you have and what you can do about it and you can find a way through it.

Good Luck.

I wouldn't use the term "normal" and doctors always caution about rectal bleeding. However, my own experience has been that a little bleeding, especially if it is bright red, is not extremely serious (I once "painted" the inside of a toilet bright red with probably a tablespoon of blood or more, when I was at the hospital once. I showed the nurse and she shrugged it off as no big deal). I have had numerous bleeding episodes over the years and have not suffer any major problem from it.

The bleeding is just the result of the swollen tissues being under additional stain from the BM and possible abrasiveness of the BM itself. Alot of people with hemroids will lubricate the rectum with a little oil before the BM (unscented mineral oil, vitamin-e oil, olive oil, sesame oil). This will also speed the healing as the BM with re-irritate the hemroids and renew the cycle of swelling, pain, and discomfort.

As you need to address and touch things on "that end" of you body, just be conscious of your hygiene. Wash your hand thoroughly to avoid passing around e-coli and other unhealthy bacteria.

Glad you've found some relief, good luck with getting rid of them alltogether.
