Okay.. For about 4 months now (on and off), I've had white spots, look like white play-doh, or spots, sometimes strips even.. in my feces. I don't feel sick, no fever, nothing. I do get sometimes stomach cramps, and it itches but not often, and it doesn't happen all the time and I've had NO PAIN except for the cramping. I'm 24 years old, male.. And in my opinion healthy (although I do have hemorrhoids). Can someone tell me what this is? I don't take vitamins or any medications/prescriptions. Can someone give me any answers or suggestions? I can't visit a doctor, because I am unemployed and have no health insurance. I live in the US.

Hey Joseph,
Sorry no one answered you yet (they hadn't answered me on this particular IBS forum either about something really embarassing, so
I went to my anxiety forum and got real answers to something that has to do with IBS - go figure, but so grateful for my friends in
the anxiety forum.
I also am uninsured, so understand your predicament.
My thoughts are that you may have some type of parasite(sp?) - possibly from something you ate?  Bad Sushi perhaps, or any raw food?  Have you been losing any weight at all?  The reason I ask is because tapeworm (which can grow many feet inside a person or animal) make a person
lose weight generally.
Do you have a clinic you might be able to go to on an emergency basis?  I would take a stool sample with you showing the white
stripes/spots and that way they could analyze it pretty quickly, or send it out for analysis and probably have an answer for you
the next day.
(Please don't take offense, I care for special needs cats and when I get their fecal samples sent out, the answer/diagnosis is back
the very next day - I would hope it would be the same or quicker with an M.D.)
Keep us updated.  I used to come here often under a different name, but lost my e-mail address and am on my friends' wireless
now so had to change my name here, too.
