Is miralax safe to take everyday????  How do people take it. Once a day or twice?

Miralax can be taken every day. The package says once a day. I've taken Miralax as a Colonoscopy prep. It wasn't too awful bad it mixes up pretty well with any liquid and is tasteless.

Hi prof,

Miralax is very safe to take daily.  I used to take 4 capfuls daily for over 3 years until I had my colectomy last year.  Did your dr prescribe it or are you taking it on your own?  If you are taking it on your own, just take the recommended dose; if it doesn't work, ask your dr how much to use.

You might have to up the dose for the first 2 days or so depending on how constipated you are.

It does work and is safe, and the best part is it is tasteless!
