I have been sick with constant bowel movement since i was 13 im now 26 anything from 10 to 30 times a day. all that goes with it too from severe pain, hot and cold sweats, having to hold the toilet roll as not to pass out, the cramps, dizzy spells, bleeding on many occasions, even sitting down and getting those sharp pains that run up through your bowels and make it impossible to sit ...
The thing that bothers me is i read everyone's stories on how there ibs effects them and mine is nothing like them mine has never changed there are no days where it eases off. food although eating it puts the food in my bowels really doesnt make me any better or worse medications for ibs dont work and i have tried alot they mainly make me throw up.i have read alot of people saying there bowels go from the runs to being constipated and if they eat curtainthings it sometimes helps mine are never like that mine are constant for 13 years i have had cameras both ends to look for crohns but nothing. does anyone have ibs like that, and if so what have you found that works? i have a 2 year old that i need to be well for...

Have you swallowed a pill camera? My problem is in my small intestine. It couldn't be seen by the scopes, they don't go in far enough.

overitall I am so sorry that you have had to deal with this from the young age of 13. As my screen name suggests, I have lived with D for over 50 years. Although I am lucky to have times when it eases up a bit, I have not in all these years figured what food (if any) makes it better or worse. I have been on all kinds of diets over the years trying to isolate certain food groups but nothingt seems to make things better or worse. I have had every medical test available and have been on all kinds of Rx. I have found no meds make me feel better than all the expensive drugs I have tried. Although IBS is awful, try to find everyday blessings (like that 2 year old of yours) to focus on. Good luck to you.
