I tried Lotronex 2 years ago and it did nothing for me. I was also thinking I had found the fix. My Dr. at a very well known clinic said it was the designer drug for IBS-D. Have you read the risk? I had to sign a release before I took it. My family did not want me to take the cahnce but my 2 Drs. said QOUTE You do not have a choice if you want to lead a normal life and continue to work. I think they talked because they both told me that. I started with some bad side effects after a couple of months so they took me off of it. I am here to tell you I do NOT let Drs. BULLY me into meds anymore. I am on Savella now and it is doing wonders for my IBS-D and Fibro. It worries me because it is new but does not have bad side effects. So think about
it and be sure before you try it. I thought the way the Drs. talked it almost always worked but as I said it did absolutely nothing for me.
