once again i am posting so i can see if there is anybody out there who can help with some insight if they may had or have or heard of anything like this i always feel like i need to move my bowels even when i do move them.when i do move them i feel better for 10 15 min and then the discomfort and pain return.not only do i have the discomfort of having to move my bowels but my stomache bloats out and makes strange noises.i have been to doctors numerous times had ct scans which has shown nothing wrong inside also blood tests which shown no infection to explain why my stools are yellow in color.i have had a colonoscopy which has shown everything normal.so now my doctor tells me that the only thing it can be is that my digestive system is paralyzed from pain medication.has anybody out there ever heard or has had anything like i am discribing if so what was the tratment or what did doctors do for you....thanks( merry christmas to everyone)

It's not really the same thing but I've had low gallbladder motility problems from taking pain meds. Opioid paid meds reduce the movement of the smooth muscles in the GI track and gallbladder. I found what helped me with my gallbladder problem was to get off of opiates. You may want to discuss an alternative pain med with your doc.
