Hey everyone hope you all are well I know it's been awhile well I've been good but things are that all that great.I've said many times now that I'm thankful that I!'m able to eat food again without experiencing the runs.But I need to remember that I still have I'm eating like I do not have it anymore lol.I've been ordering take out a lot and things are fine after I've eaten and while I'm eating but I pay for it the next day or days later.Especially if it's been really greasy foods I need to cut back and eat much more healthier and watch what I eat.Today before heading out I spent most of the day in the bathroom and it was not a pretty site.I never want to go through that anymore need to add a little bit more fiber in my diet.I need to remember fiber helps a bunch I'm eating like I have a normal digestive system lol.I was getting a little carried away thinking I was healed lol but I will one day I'm keeping the faith!.

Well I'm just saying trying to stay focused this year not going to let my IBS keep me from living and enjoying life.Easier said then done lol really it is I try but my anxiety is preventing me from taking that step and facing my fears head on.I will with positive thoughts and a lot of prayers things will get even better.Well I hope you all are well and in good spirits and hoping you have more good days then bad.Till next post I'm just looking forward to great things happening for me and more blessings to come my way hoping the same for you all also well take care and God bless. :-)

Just this morning I have been giving myself positive thoughts about the foods that I eat. I am gluten and dairy intolerant and in the last several days I have completely abandoned what my body needs and can handle. It just seems like as I am munching on something terrible for me, but delicious I can't seem to remember all the pain and discomfort that will quickly follow. Then I spend hours or days berating myself.

I know exactly where you are coming from and I can only sympathize with what you are going through.
Presently on: 600 mg. Remicade every 5 weeks
                   Venofer infusion every 5 weeks
                   B12 every 5 weeks              
                   12 Asacol daily
                   Zofran as needed
Dealing with Colitis since 2003, Gastro-Paresis, Reflux, IBS and Gluten and Dairy Intolerance

Yes it's so easy to stray from the foods we should eat and then pay for this indulgence the following day.

I struggle with this too. We've been hibernating this winter a bit too much and I've enjoyed baking. Which means cookies!

My other snack that can really throw my system out of whack if I eat too many - are sunflower seeds. But they are so good to munch on while on the computer (I prefer the ones in the shell). The last time I ran out of them I forced myself not to buy anymore. LOL!

So far my gut's been quiet. It's funny how we get into odd habits, like I was used to the s. seeds at the computer or a cookie or two.

I need to stop eating outside of meal times too!

It's a struggle, that's for sure.
