I seem to get chest pains with gas, and also if I have stool in my transverse colon or am constipated. Are you pretty regular (bowels) and are you constipated? Try to keep your stool soft and stay away from gas-producing foods if you can. I get chest pains that come from my G.I. tract all the time.
Try not to freak out. Your labs and EKG were normal, which is good! I feel your angst though........there are times when little things freak me out with my body/pain.
But just know that, yes, the GI tract can many times cause chest pain.

Oh yes. I am so glad you posted this question. I get a lot of chest pains that seem to be gas pains. Also get this when I am constipated. I can feel the gas pains all the way at the top of my chest.

Lately I am waking up during the night with a burning in my tummy around my belly button. Guessing this is gas forming from being empty all night.
