Hello. I am so glad I found this site.  I have been diagnosed with IBS for about 7 years, and it's overwheling.  This morning I had the worst accident ever on waking up, and I got so depressed because I am an adult and I feel as if IBS has taken over my world.  Trying to find food triggers, diets, taking emergency clothes to work, praying I can find a toilet quickly, explaining to friends why I can't eat certain things at parties.  And the pain!  My God!  I guess it could be worse- I have a sister who is battling Crohn's disease. Fortunately, tests proved I didnt have Crohns. The only saving thing is my kids great sense of humor about all this- they've named the toilet after me, seeing as how they can hardly get in to use it!

Welcome to the forum! You've landed in a very good place. Lots of helpful members here. I wish you didn't have such struggles, I wish we could all wave a magic wand and our troubles would be over. But for now, having a place to post, ask questions, vent or just laugh about something silly to share, really, really helps!
