Think of something easy to digest. Pudding? Sugar
cookies? I would skip hard candy right and/or nuts. Go easy on chocolate chip
cookies because the chocolate contains caffeine.
I remember back to when I was new at all this. 1 bag of plain M & M's would last me all week. I'd have 5 a day. Eat them one at a time and you can savor the treat like this.
I keep thinking of desserts, not candy to suggest - lemon meringue pie, apple pie, simple white cake with white icing. Check your local bakery, mine offers unsold day old cake by the slice, for $1.
