I am so sorry for your daughter, that's horrible! But I would take her to the doctor, she needs more testing to be done - abdominal pain is a bad thing and needs to get checked out! Is she seeing a pediatrician? It might be time to find her a new doctor, preferably a gastroenterologist. Good luck and I hope you get some answers soon.

Hi Ruth
i just wanted to ask you if you felt weak and nauseous the day after your colonoscopy? I had mine yesterday at 3:30 pm and was quite anxious when they brought me in because I had to wait over 3 hours. Today I have had reflux and nausea all day and I was feeling better before the prep for the colonoscopy. You are nine months post op---does all this really get better? i just feel so frustrated---yesterday my gastro doctor said that I have been so thoroughly checked out and should feel so relieved that I am healthy except for a slight gastritis he found before the gallbladder surgery. I am glad the colonoscopy only showed a hemerroid but he did biopsy a few places for colitis....

Hi Lilly,

I am sorry I have been offline and didn't see your question and I am also sorry to hear you aren't feeling well after your colonoscopy. I felt fine after I had mine done, and I also had an endoscopy at the same time, so I just had a little bit of a sore throat afterward. The next day I felt fine, in fact, that was a good night's sleep for me. Now the prep for a colonoscopy, well, that's the worst part of the whole thing! Let me know how you're doing and when you get your test results back. My G.I.'s office called me the next day to see how I was doing and to set up a follow up visit, I hope you will see your doctor if you still aren't back to normal. Ruth
