If the diagnosis is h.pylori, then you will take antibiotics for a while to clear it. But that does not eliminate the possibility of a Crohn's diagnosis, which might be made via biopsy of the duodenum, but might not. Apparently some people have inflammation in the duodenum with no known cause.
However, since you have been passing blood, and the colonoscopy did not show evidence of hemmies or fissures, I would push for a small bowel series to examine the small bowel, perhaps a pill cam, and blood work to look for inflammatory factors.
